Notes on using search pages in a website.

So when to search, why and how. Let's start by looking at some local search engines and seeing how they operate in light of the text's considerations. 

Can't use a search engine on your site? Try using SFSU's search engine, available to all account holders on campus. And yes, it can be set to search only your site.
