Locke and the Rest

  Yet another of the ILTweb series "Classics in Education Series." This time the full text is in place, with glorious hyperlinking.

Gestalt

• An introduction to Gestalt from the TIP database. Do follow the link to Gibson for an interesting perspective.
• Society for Gestalt Theory and its Applications. Especially:
  • Max Wertheimer's 1924 Statement of Gestalt Theory
  • An Old Psuedoproblem by Wolfgang , the theorist mentioned in the text. This is a study of the "problem" of external vs. internal reason.
• Insight, by C. George Boeree, starts with a consideration of Köhler's Gestalt and then weaves through other psychologies.

Dewey

I will do my best to give some insights into Dewey, but he is very difficult to summarize. Still, try these:
