- Fetch
- Fetch is a good basic FTP client. The above link takes you to a nice
tutorial in addition to allowing you to download the software. And it
is free to educators! Look for the link to the special lisence on the
left of the page.
- Transmit 2.5
- A nicer version of FTP client, but ultimately not worth the extra
money to me. Gives a more complete 2 window view than Fetch.
- FTP Client 4.0.1
- Another well regarded FTP client that has more going for it than Fetch.
Windows
- WS_FTP LE
- This is a basic free FTP client for Windows. They do also make a "pro" version,
which costs money. I've know of no one who was not satisfied with this
free product. Be sure to choose the free download.
- Cute FTP
- Some of my Windows propeller heads think CuteFTP is worth the extra
bucks. Better interface and more powerful features than WS_FTP Pro.
